Kerry County Council is planning to develop a new car park in Killarney.
It’s proposed that this car park would be located at Green Lawn.
The issue of heavy traffic and the need for additional car parking has been regularly raised by Killarney Municipal District councillors.
Kerry County Council is planning to develop this new car park at Green Lawn and it would see a new entrance from Mission Road to the existing lower New Street car park with a link to proposed Green Lawn car park.
There would also be drainage works, landscaping, public lighting and associated works.

Members of the public can submit submission relating to the proposals can do so before May 15th at 4pm.
