A young man is recovering in hospital this evening having been rescued from a cliff edge near Dingle earlier today.
The alarm was raised when the 22-year-old got into difficulties while climbing at Mountgearhane, Dingle, at around 12.30pm.
Both Dingle Coast Guard and the Rescue 115 helicopter were tasked to the scene by Valentia Coast Guard, and arrived just after 1.30pm.

The climber was winched to safety and then taken to University Hospital Kerry.
