The book of evidence will be served next month on a man accused of dangerous driving causing serious harm in Tralee.
The update was provided at Tralee District Court recently in the case of 30-year-old Ioan Plumb, of Pluckeen, Caherslee, Tralee.
Mr Plumb faces one charge in relation to the alleged incident.
It’s alleged that shortly after 7am on October 1st 2025, that Ioan Plumb drove dangerously causing bodily harm to a cyclist.
A man in his 40s was taken to University Hospital Kerry for treatment of serious injuries, following a collision between a car and a bike.
The accused appeared in person before Judge David Waters at Tralee District Court in relation to the alleged incident.
Sergeant Chris Manton advised that the state solicitor Diane Reidy confirmed the book of evidence will be ready in four-weeks.
Mr Plumb’s solicitor, Brendan Ahern acknowledged this and applied for a Romanian interpreter to be available on the date.
Judge Waters remanded Mr Plumb on continuing bail, to appear before Tralee District Court on July 8th for the book of evidence to be served.
