The average price of buying a home in Kerry rose to €300,000 in twelve months.
That’s according to the CSO’s Residential Property Price Index for May, which shows a rise of over 11% in a year, up from €270,000.
Homes with a V93 eircode are the most expensive in Kerry, and experienced an over 16.5% jump in the year to €350,000, up from €300,000.
There was an over 12% increase in home prices in the V92 area, to more than €281,000 (€281,333), up over €30,000 in 12 months, from €251,000.
The average price of a property in the V23 region rose by just under 10% to €292,500; while homes in the V31 area cost almost €260,000 (€259,500), an over 8% jump.
The figures show, the cost of purchasing a dwelling in the P51 area rose by almost 6%, to €270,000, while residential properties in the V94 area (which includes Abbeyfeale, Athea and Glin) increased by more than 6% to €350,000.
