Anyone with Covid symptoms can still walk in to test centre in Tralee despite cyber attack

Anyone with symptoms of Covid-19, or who has been identified as a close contact, can attend walk-in testing at HSE swabbing centres this weekend without an appointment.

As it's not possible to issue appointments due to Friday's cyber attack, the HSE says it cannot predict the demand at any given time and apologises in advance for any delays.

A statement issued by the HSE says, it's of critical importance that anyone who is a close contact - or with symptoms - continues to self-isolate while awaiting test results.

The Tralee centre is open  until mid-day today (Saturday) and again between 2 and 5 this afternoon; as well as 2pm to 5pm tomorrow (Sunday).

Further updates on opening hours of test centres are available on the HSE website and Twitter account.
