An anti-racism resource booklet has been launched in Tralee.
The Integration, Inclusion and Anti-Racism Resource was launched in the Tralee International Resource Centre this morning.
It was developed by a range of groups including members of the Kerry and Cork Children and Young People Services Committees (CYPSC), youth groups, as well as migrant support and integration forums.
Claire O’Toole is co-ordinator for Kerry CYPSC.
She says the aim is to give people the tools and confidence to help them challenge racism and misinformation.
Ms O’Toole says the 20-page guide gives tangible examples of how people could respond to a situation where racist or other kinds of offensive comments are made:
