An anonymous donation of €20,000 has been made to the Celebrate4Life appeal.
A total of €52,484 has been raised to date in the Radio Kerry appeal, an initiative to help raise vital funds for four Kerry charities.
The four Kerry charities involved are: Kerry Hospice Foundation, Comfort for Chemo, Recovery Haven and the Kerry Cancer Support Group.
The Board of Radio Kerry has approved a contribution of €10,000 to towards the appeal, which will run across the station today and into next week.
The aim of the event is to raise money for the charities whose fundraising has been impacted in recent months, while celebrating the lives of those we lost during Covid-19.
The Kerry Association in London is donating 2,000 pounds sterling to the appeal.
