Kerry was the third most popular destination in Ireland for domestic tourists last year.
That’s according to figures from Fáilte Ireland, which show that 1.2 million visitors came to the Kingdom last year, spending €303 million.
The average length of stay was days, and this equated to almost 3.7 million bed nights.
