Ger Brennan has reportedly stepped down as manager of the Louth senior footballers this evening.
A two-time All-Ireland winner with Dublin, Brennan took up the role ahead of this season following the departure of Mickey Harte.
He guided the Wee County to their first Leinster senior title in 68 years in May, and reached the preliminary quarter-finals of this year's Sam Maguire, losing to Donegal.
