Adeleke qualifies for European Championships

Rhasidat Adeleke has achieved automatic qualification for the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham.

It was a last chance for her, after not competing in the last two events - She needed 22-point 8-5 or better in the women's 200 meters final at the National Track and Field Championships in Santry.

Adeleke won the race in 22-point-8-0.

However there was concern for Sharlene Mawdsley, who pulled up 80 meters into the race with injury.
