Works to reduce high levels of leakage in an area outside Killarney have been completed.
Uisce Éireann replaced 1.8km of aged water mains from the N72 junction at Crohane, Dromkerry, along the L-11012 Gortacollopa, Fossa.
The utility says the old water mains had been prone to frequent bursts and leakage, before being upgraded.

It says the upgrades, which are part of the national Leakage Reduction Programme, will improve the resilience of the network in the area.
The completion of the works has been welcomed by Independent TD for Kerry, Danny Healy-Rae.
