A woman remains in garda custody this evening in connection with what gardaí are calling a serious public order incident in Tralee.
The public order incident happened shortly before 11pm on Mitchels Road in Tralee, and resulted in multiple people being taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Radio Kerry understands up to 20 people were involved in a fight in the area.
Gardaí seized a vehicle and other items, and a technical examination of the scene was conducted.
A woman in her 40s was arrested and is still detained at a garda station in Kerry this evening.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with dash-cam footage of the Mitchels Road area from 10:30 onwards last night, to contact them.
