Woman released from hospital after being injured in North Kerry collision whereby driver fled the scene

Gardaí say a woman who was injured in a collision in North Kerry, whereby the driver fled the scene, has been released from hospital.

Two collisions took place in Ballyduff before 4.30pm yesterday.

A small black car that was travelling from Ferry Bridge to Ballyduff crashed into a car travelling in the same direction.

The driver of the second car had to be brought to UHK with head and facial injuries; however, she has since been released.

The black car then crossed the road and collided with a van; the occupants of the van were not injured.

The driver of the small black car failed to stop and continued in the direction of Ballyduff.
