The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has launched an investigation following the death of a woman in her 60s in a farm accident in South Kerry.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene in Bonane, Kenmare, at roughly 5 o'clock (5pm) yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 17th June).
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the work-related incident.

Gardaí have conducted an examination of the scene, and the HSA is investigating the matter.
The Coroner for Kerry has been notified and a file is to be prepared for the Coroner’s Court.
The HSA had said no further information is available at this time.
