Waterville was without a GP service for three days this week.
The HSE South West says GP services in the village were disrupted earlier this week due to the temporary unavailability of a locum doctor on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
The HSE says for these three days, emergency presentations were directed to another GP practice.

It says all other appointments were rescheduled.
The GP service in Waterville resumed yesterday.
