New owners of historic South Kerry hotel say it’s vital the premises stayed open

The new owners of an historic South Kerry hotel say it’s important the business stayed open and its future is bright.

Niall Moran was speaking after he and Bryan Marsal - who is one of the owners of Hogs Head golf club – bought the Butler Arms Hotel in Waterville.

The 36-bedroom hotel went on the market last year, after previous owners – the Press Up hospitality group - went into receivership.

Mr Moran stated plans are underway for further works at the over 140-year-old premises in the winter.

However, he says the Butler Arms Hotel will reopen in April:
