Volunteers who are giving up their time to teach English are providing a vital service to vulnerable people entering the country.
That's according to Mary Carroll of Tralee International Resource Centre.
The volunteer-led English classes that take place three times a day are vital in allowing service users to integrate into the local community and access vital services.
This National Volunteering Week, Ms Carroll is grateful to those who give up their time to teach, as the centre wouldn't be in a position to employ English-language teachers.
