The iconic voice of Gaelic games commentator Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh will be used as part of a treatment for people with dementia.
The West Kerry native passed away in 2024 at the age of 93 - he had worked as a match-day commentator for more than 50 years.
Reminiscence therapy uses sensory aids, such as music and photos, to help people recall and share past experiences.
A project has been organised by the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland, the GAA and RTÉ Archives on TheReplay.ie - where people can listen back to audio commentary from All-Ireland finals dating back to 1985 and 2010.
