Overnight water restrictions will apply again in parts of Kerry until at least Friday.
Uisce Éireann says the areas affected will be Tralee, Fenit, Castleisland, Castlemaine, Milltown, Firies, Currans, Brennan’s Glen, Beaufort, Listry, Aghadoe, Barleymount, Two-Mile School, Lauragh, and Caragh Lake.
Uisce Éireann says the restrictions will be in place tonight and tomorrow night from 9pm to 7am, and a further assessment will be carried out on Friday.
The utility says the continuation of restrictions is essential to allow treated water reservoirs to recover and ensure daytime supply.
It comes as a national hosepipe ban comes into effect from Friday until the 26 August.
