Valentia Coast Guard assists with medical evacuation

Valentia Coast Guard Radio Station is currently assisting with a medical evacuation from a Russian ship. The 120m Russian factory ship is currently over 200

Valentia Coast Guard Radio Station is currently assisting with a medical evacuation from a Russian ship.

The 120m Russian factory ship is currently over 200 miles off Galway.

The casualty has fractured their hip and will be airlifted to hospital by the rescue helicopter based in Shannon.
