The vacant property rate in Kerry is over 3% more than the national average.
That's according to figures from the latest GeoDirectory Residential Buildings Report for the last quarter of 2024.
The figures were provided by Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government James Browne, following a query from Kerry Independent TD Danny Healy-Rae.
The report showed that the vacant house rate in Kerry was 7.1%, while the average vacancy rate across Ireland had dropped to 3.8%, the lowest rate recorded since 2013.
