Urgent action is needed to tackle assaults on HSE staff

There were 41 sexual assaults on HSE staff reported in 2021.

There were over 5,800 physical attacks - and nearly 1,700 verbal assaults.

According to freedom of information files, 49 per cent of the victims were nurses.
