Uisce Éireann is urging its Kerry customers to sign up to its free text alert service.
The purpose of the alerts are to keep customers informed as major water infrastructure upgrades continue nationwide.
The €10 billion investment programme will deliver better quality and more secure water, but short-term outages are expected.

Over 250,000 people have already signed up, including almost 10,000 in Kerry.
The alerts provide real-time updates on supply interruptions, repairs and boil water notices.
Customers can register quickly at water.ie using their Eircode and mobile number.
