Trial date set for Billy Burns accused of murdering his mother in Killarney

A date has been set for the trial of Billy Burns who's accused of murdering his mother in Killarney.

Mr Burns, formerly of Arlington Lodge, Tralee is charged with the murder of his mother Miriam.

Miriam Burns, who was 75, was found dead at her home in Ardshanavooley, Killarney on August 15th, 2022.

The Courts Service says the case is listed for November 3rd and is currently scheduled to be heard in the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin.

Billy Burns, who’s in his fifties, was sent forward for trial to the Central Criminal Court in Dublin in April 2023.
