Tralee's first major private housing development in 18 years will come onto the market in the next week to ten days.
Belmont View in Ballyard will consist of 52 three- and four-bedroom homes, with prices expected to start at around €400,000.
Meanwhile, twelve new houses will be released in Kilflynn this evening, each priced at €380,000.
Auctioneer Ger Carmody says it is no longer affordable for small and medium developers to build homes.
He believes that tax incentives, first-time buyer support, and changes to land zoning policies would encourage more developments:
