An Indian-born woman who has been living in Kerry for 26 years says she is worried for her family after she was racially attacked in Tralee.
Sonali Flynn has been a resident of Ireland since 1999 and she’s became a citizen in 2003; she says she sees herself as Irish now.
Ms Flynn, who lives in Tralee, was out celebrating Kerry’s All-Ireland Final win in the early hours of July 28th when she was verbally and physically attacked.
She says she’d never faced any kind of racism before this attack.

Gardaí say an investigation is ongoing.
Ms Flynn says she’s still dealing with the aftermath of the attack, but praised the support she’s received from friends and colleagues.
