A Tralee woman who was born in a mother and baby home says she and others want their voices to be heard.

Clodagh Finn was speaking after a Commission of Investigation member told a seminar in the UK last week that some evidence was not considered when finalising the report.

Six weeks after her birth, Clodagh Finn was adopted from a mother and baby home in Dublin and grew up in Tralee.

The 53-year-old received her birth certificate in recent days, co-incidentally just after Commission of Investigation member Mary Daly   revealed the testimonies of 550 survivors had been dismissed.

Professor Daly said those discounted didn’t meet a legal standard of evidence.

Clodagh Finn says the report can’t stand up to scrutiny without the excluded testimonies.
