The tourism prospects for Kerry from the international market are looking very strong this year.
That’s according to Patrick O’Donoghue, who is the chair of the Kerry Tourism Industry Federation marketing sub-committee.
He says last year was a successful one from a tourism perspective, with many visitors travelling from the US.
Mr O’Donoghue says the numbers visiting here from Germany and Frace haven’t yet returned to the pre-COVID levels, but last year saw people visit Kerry from India and Australia.
He says many hotels in the county already have strong bookings for this year.
