The thoughts of the Listowel community are with a woman allegedly falsely imprisoned in a car over the weekend.
Gardaí say they’re investigating an incident of false imprisonment of a woman in a vehicle on the Clieveragh Road in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A man in his 20s was arrested, and as of this morning was still being questioned by gardaí.

Gardaí say they’re particularly interested in the movements of a white Audi A4 saloon vehicle around this time.
Anyone with any information, especially dash cam footage of the area between Listowel town centre and the Clieveragh Road between 2am and 4am, is asked to contact gardaí.
Sinn Féin councillor for the Listowel Municipal District, Tom Barry, says it was a shocking incident.
