A man remains in Garda custody this morning in connection to the investigation into an alleged incident of false imprisonment of a woman in North Kerry.

A man in his 20s was arrested in connection with the investigation and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Gardaí say they are particularly interested in the movements of a white Audi A4 saloon vehicle during this period.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, particularly those with dash-cam footage who were in the area between Listowel town centre and the R552 Clieveragh Road between 2am and 4am to make this footage available to Gardaí.
