The next section of the South Kerry Greenway will open to the public on Friday.
The over 2KM stretch between Glenbeigh and Mountain stage, will open to walkers and cyclists in time for the long weekend.
It brings the distance to almost 10km, following the opening of the first section (3km) in December, and section two (4km) in April.
The new stretch of the South Kerry Greenway incorporates a 100-metre elevated boardwalk offering extensive views of the surrounding countryside.
The long-awaited greenway will initially stretch 27km between Glenbeigh and Cahersiveen, with around two thirds of that to be completed by the end of 2027.
The opening of the third section has been welcomed by Fianna Fáil TD Michael Cahill.
