Taoiseach Micheál Martin will today address the Fórsa trade union's biennial conference, which is taking place in Killarney.
Fórsa is the country's largest public sector union and it's expected that delegates will today demand a better deal on public sector pay.
Artificial intelligence and remote working will also be among the topics debated by members at this week's conference.
The conference comes ahead of talks on the next public sector pay deal, which are expected to begin in the coming weeks.
