Status yellow rain warning issued for Kerry from this afternoon

A Status Yellow rain warning has been issued for Kerry and 9 other counties.

Met Éireann is warning of heavy rain and a few thundery downpours, which may result in spot flooding.

It comes into effect from 2 o clock this afternoon and is valid until 2pm tomorrow.

The status yellow rain warning impacts Kerry and the rest of Munster, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford and Galway.
