Specsavers Tralee is urging people in Kerry to claim free hearing aids during Healthy Hearing Month.
Following changes to the PRSI Treatment Benefit Scheme, people can now use their PRSI contributions to claim hearing aids worth up to €1,000 for free.
Specsavers Tralee says the changes will allow thousands of people to qualify for free hearing aids, and have designated April as Healthy Hearing Month.

The hearing specialists are also pledging to test and screen a quarter of a million people across Ireland over the next two years.
