Kerry ETB says South Kerry is to benefit from the addition of a UBU youth service.
€1.2 million in funding was recently announced to establish youth services in ten counties.
UBU – your place, your space - is an organisation who work to provide tailored, youth led services to young people.

To date it has four branches in the county - Castleisland, Killarney, Tralee and Listowel - operated by KCYS.
Kerry ETB says the new service will be established in Kenmare town and will offer vital supports and opportunities for young people in the area.
A spokespoerson says the service is in mobilisation phase and the next steps include finalising service requirements, recruitment, youth service applications and project delivery.
