The operator of self-catering accommodation in Killarney is welcoming the news that a new short-term lets register won't be enforced until December.

Owners of Airbnb style Short-Term Letting (STL) properties will be required by a new law to get planning to operate as short-term rental property, before registering with Fáilte Ireland.

The vice-chair of the Irish Self-Catering Federation, Noelle Casey says that the delay gives certainty to for this season
