Searches are continuing in Kenmare for Michael Gaine who has been missing for almost three weeks.
Michael Mike Gaine was last seen in Centra in Kenmare on March 20th.
His family have had no contact from him, and both his family and Gardaí say they are extremely concerned for his well-being.
Gardaí say they are continuing to appeal to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 56-year-old Michael Gaine.
Michael bought phone credit in Centra, Kenmare at 9.48am and he then left in his bronze coloured RAV4 registration 152 KY 366. This vehicle was later found parked in Michael Gaine’s farmyard, just off the N71 at Carrig East.
Irish Defence Forces personnel are continuing to assist Gardaí in searches that are taking place over rough, open ground and at higher altitude.
Michael is described as being approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a stocky build, brown/grey hair and a bushy beard.
When last seen, Michael was wearing an orange woolly hat, black fleece, blue jeans and black boots.
Gardaí are continuing to carry out enquiries in the Kenmare area.
They are continuing to appeal to people who travelled on the N71 on Thursday 20th March, after 9:48am, and anyone with dash-cam or CCTV, from March 20th and 21st to contact them.
