A section of the Rose Wall structure which was shattered in a criminal damage incident has been replaced.
Last month, Gardaí launched an appeal and identified a young man who vandalised the glass panel of the monument in Tralee Town Park.

A young-male threw stones at the Rose Wall until it shattered, before fleeing; it’s estimated replacement cost was €9,000.
The Rose Wall was unveiled in 2013, and surrounds a life-size bronze statue of the original Rose of Tralee Mary O’Connor, and the author of the Rose of Tralee ballad William Pembroke Mulchinock.
A brand-new glass panel showing the 2015-2016 Roses has now been installed at the site.
The Rose of Tralee International Festival gets underway on Friday (August 15th).
