Roscommon community devastated by Ballybunion tragedy

The brother and sister - Dessie Byrne and Muriel Eriksson - who drowned in Ballybunion last evening had been on holidays with their family.

Mr Byrne's son was on the beach when the tragedy occurred.

Roscommon councillor Laurence Fallon who knew Mr Byrne says the community is reeling.
