Road reopened on N21 following Castleisland crash

The road has been reopened following a three vehicle crash outside Castleisland.

The collision took place on the N21 Tralee to Castleisland road just after the roundabout into Castleisland town.

The incident is thought to be weather related due to black ice on the route and no injuries have been reported.

Black ice has also been reported on the R585 Cork to Kenmare road, as well as Barraduff Bridge outside Killarney.

These routes have now been gritted, although motorists are still advised to drive with caution in these areas.
