A rescue operation is currently underway for a woman injured on Carrauntoohil this evening.
Valentia Coast Guard received the call for emergency assistance at 4:40pm (16:42).
It has Kerry Mountain Rescue and rescue helicopter 117 from Waterford with the mission.

The 18-year-old was climbing Brother O'Shea's Gully when she fell and sustained injuries to her wrist and arm.
