An injured rock climber has been rescued following a fall on the Gap of Dunloe.
Kerry Mountain Rescue Team and the Shannon based Resuce-115 helicopter were tasked to the scene yesterday evening.
The male had suffered an ankle injury and was stretchered to safety by Kerry Mountain Rescue, before being airlifted to University Hospital Kerry.
Meanwhile, Valentia Coast Guard tasked Kerry Mountain Rescue Team and Rescue 115 helicopter to Carrauntoohill on Sunday afternoon.
A male hiker had become separated from a group, he was described as not being sufficiently equipped for hiking.
He was airlifted to University Hospital Kerry with injuries including to his toenails.
