Radio Kerry has won three gold awards, two silver and one bronze at this year's IMRO Radio Awards held in Kilkenny last night.
The awards celebrate excellence in radio.
Deirdre Walsh’s Talkabout won gold in the Interactive Speech Programme category for "The Curious Case of the Dog and the Street Light'.

There was also a gold award for Yuliia Riabova in the Gay Byrne Newcomer of the Year and JJ O'Shea in Specialist Music Broadcaster.

The silver awards were for Local Station of the Year, and for Niamh Daly's New Moves in the Irish Music Programme or Initiative category.
The bronze award was for Short Feature and was awarded to Heritage Hunters, a series produced by Elaine Kinsella with Kerry County Museum.

Radio Kerry had a total of eight nominations for this year's awards.
