The awards mark the very best in Irish radio broadcasting, recognising those who have made contributions over the past year.

JJ O’Shea has been nominated in the Specialist Music Programme category and he’s also nominated in the Specialist Music Broadcaster category.
Radio Kerry News has been nominated in the News Story category for the station’s coverage of the disappearance of Michael Gaine.
Tim Moynihan is in the running for the Sports Broadcaster of the Year Local / Regional award, while Deirdre Walsh’s TalkAbout is nominated in the interactive speech programme category for the curious case of the dog and the street light.
Niamh Daly’s New Moves is in the running for the IMRO Irish Music Programme or Initiative category, while Heritage Hunters, a series produced by Elaine Kinsella with the Kerry County Museum, is in the running in the Short Feature category and Radio Kerry’s Yuliia Riabova is nominated for the Gay Byrne Newcomer of the Year award.
