An appeal on Radio Kerry to find the woman who helped save a man's life in Killarney has proven successful.
Ciara O'Mara told Jerry O'Sullivan on Kerry Today that her husband, Terry, suffered a cardiac arrest while running the Fossa Way on 17th June.
An unknown woman performed CPR and helped save Terry's life.
The family, who was on holiday from Dublin, is extremely grateful to community first responders, gardaí, and health care workers for their efforts.
Ciara O'Mara told Jerry what she wanted to say to the woman whose ability to perform CPR was so crucial to Terry's survival:
After the interview on Radio Kerry, it emerged that the woman who had performed CPR was Teresa Clifford from Faha, who has been involved with the Irish Heart Foundation since 1999.
