Ireland's oldest festival, Puck Fair begins today in Killorglin.

The celebration revolves around the crowning of a wild mountain goat as King, in honour of a tradition that can be traced back as far as 1613.

The early morning horse fair will be followed by six hours of street performances around Puck Stand, Library Place and the Square.
