Protest taking place today to highlight shortage of beds and staff in West Kerry Community Hospital

A protest will take place this afternoon to highlight the shortage of beds and staff in West Kerry Community Hospital.

The gathering has been organised by Sinn Féin councillor Robert Brosnan and will take place at the hospital in Dingle at 1.30pm.

HSE South West says the number of hospital beds open at any time is dependent on safe staffing levels.
