Kerry County Council have temporarily closed off a portion of Main St, Killarney.
The decision comes after a piece of a window sill from an upper window of a building fell onto the footpath on Wednesday March 26th.
The Killarney Municipal District carried out a visual inspection of the building, contacted the occupiers and owners, and temporarily closed off a section of the road and footpath surrounding the building.

The report on the inspection was received yesterday afternoon, Friday March 28th, and advised the closing of the footpath and public road outside the building.
As a result, the municipal district fenced off the section of road and footpath surrounding the building and is engaging with the property owners to resolve the issue
