Kerry County Council says it’s committed to exploring all opportunities to acquire land to advance development plans at Inch Beach.
The information was provided in response to a motion from Fine Gael councillor Tommy Griffin at the recent Castleisland-Corca Dhuibhne MD meeting.
He urged to council to proceed with chances to acquire land and property to assist with the Inch Beach Infrastructural Development Plan.
Meanwhile, the council advised plans to tender for a specialist geotechnical consultant are underway.
It says this consultant will monitor the rate of coastal erosion at the cliffs west of Inch beach under a multi-annual contract.
