Planning permission is being sought for a solar farm on an 84-hectare site in north Kerry.
Terra Solar II Limited has applied to Kerry County Council for the solar farm, which will connect to the national grid, on lands in Ballydonohue, Glouria, Coolard, Knockenagh South, Carhoonaknock East, Coolkeragh and Tullamore.
The development would include 19 single storey electricity transformer stations.

The application is for a ten-year planning permission.
Kerry County Council is due to decide on the application by June 22nd.
